FAQ
Short answers to common questions.
Is it free? Yes, everything is free during the preview — batches, all formats and ZIP export. Paid plans are planned and marked coming soon on the pricing page.
Are my scans uploaded? No. Conversion, detection and export run in your browser.
Does it straighten tilted photos? Yes — each crop is rotated level on export. Tilts under 2° are ignored by default (Advanced options).
Does it turn sideways or upside-down photos? Not automatically. Use Rotate left/right on the crop.
Does it fix perspective (a photo shot at an angle)? No. The 4-point tool fits a rotated rectangle; it does not warp the image.
Does it keep the camera and GPS data? For JPG scans, yes: JPG exports copy the original EXIF by default, with an option to remove GPS. Other source formats have no EXIF to copy.
How many files at once? No fixed limit; very large batches depend on your device's memory.
Why does Export say “Finding photos”? Some scans are still converting or detecting. You can edit the finished ones meanwhile.
My photo was missed. Drag on empty space to draw a box (Add crop on mobile), or try a different method in Advanced options and add the scan again.
Can it crop around a pet or a person in an ordinary photo? Yes. For a photo that is not a scan of several prints, an in-browser model finds the main subject (people, pets, common objects) and proposes a crop around it — tilted when the subject lies at an angle. It is a suggestion you can adjust; the models are downloaded once and nothing is uploaded.
